Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Female | spayed | 5 years and 11 months old | 21 lbs
Hello, my 5 years old french bulldog threw up a piece of pineapple and some green thing ( I think its her hills prescription id food) in 2:45am. The pineapple was orange color so I think its blood? She looks fine and normal, she had breakfast as usual. But she just pooped and it was a solid, good texture, middle length poop but the color was black. I smushed it and it was brown inside. Should I be worried and take her to the vet today? Thank you.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I don't think you need to bring her in. I think that the pineapple being orange has to do with in being in the stomach. And since the stool is brown inside that is normal. Just watch her closely for any diarrhea or continued vomiting with or with out blood. And If she isn't acting normal or not eating then I would have her seen. Good luck!
