New pit bull puppy: unknown age, shots, feeding, and potty needs?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female

I have a pit bull puppy that was given to us, I don't know how old she is but she is teething at the time. I have no way to find out if she has her shots or anything like that because the person who gave it to me does not know either because the dog was given to her. She looks healthy to me. But What should I do? Also how much food should she be eating and how often should she be taken outside to use the bathroom?

Hazel is so cute! I would call a vet today to make an appointment for her. The vet can give her the vaccines needed, do a health check, and give you an estimate of her age. She should be fed at least twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. I would take her out to potty every three to four hours. I hope this helps!
