My dog eats grass and throws up yellow foam. Is this normal?

My dog keeps eating grass. Now sometimes he'll puke it up with a yellow foam. Should I be worried? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 8 years and 1 month old | 18 lbs

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Dogs may vomit after eating grass. No one exactly knows the reason why dogs eat grass, but I would try to prevent him from eating it as best as you can. I would say if you prevent Freckles from eating grass and he still is vomiting, then I would recommend Freckles see his veterinarian for an evaluation and exam. I hope this helps!
