Would severe seasonal allergies cause the platelet count to drop in dogs? Pet's info: Dog | Puggle | Female | spayed | 24 lbs

No, severe allergies would not cause low platelets. However, dogs with an in appropriately responding immune system (over reactive) to allergens may also be over responding and attacking its own platelets.
