My boxer has a black spot on his docked tail. Is it a pressure callus?

Hi, my god has something black on his tail that looks like its addleling(?) whaat caan it be? :( he's a boxer. Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 20 days old

Hello, it looks like a pressure callus that has developed to cover the bony pointy part of his tail which was likely too prominent after his tail docking. He will likely have that for the rest of his life. I may be able to be removed surgically and have his bony tail better covered to prevent a second callus, but this may be more risky than beneficial. The callus is likely not bothering him, besides being aesthetically unpleasant. Hope this helps and best of luck.
