My 2-month-old puppy is shivering a lot. What could be the cause?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 11 days old | 8 lbs

My 2 month old puppy has already had her first set of shots she had no abnormal findings and is pretty healthy but for some reason she gets the shivers very often we have only had her for about 5 days there is no diarrhea or vomit and she is eating her good and drinking water what could this be?

There could be a couple of reasons why Rosie is shivering. Shivering could be caused by pain, fever, anxiety, or nervousness. Given she recently saw the vet and had had no problems, I would suspect nervousness might be the cause. She's new to your home, and that is a stressful adjustment. As long as she is eating and drinking normally, going to the bathroom normally, and otherwise acting normal, I would not be too concerned about it. I hope this helps!
