My 120 pound dog was prescribed 15 mg Meloxicam for arthritis seems high please help! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 120 lbs

That does seem quite high. In my drug handbook, the reported dose is 0.1mg/kg. For a 120 pound dog, this is 5mg. I would ask your vet to re-calculate the dose or choose a different NSAID all together. Personally, I don't like using meloxicam in large breed dogs and I use carprofen, deracoxib, or firocoxib.
