Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 35 lbs
We have had kiwi for over a year now and she is extremely nervous when ANY new person approaches her. If we walk down the street and no one makes direct contact with her or acts like they may, or if other dogs are around, she is perfectly fine. However if someone approaches her / attempts to pet her she begins to bark like crazy and gets super nervous. Are there any ways to end this and make it so she is comfortable around everyone unless given a reason not to be At least to the point w no bark

I would recommend working with a trainer with Kiwi. The trainer would come to your home and see exactly what her triggers are and how she behaves. At that point they can recommend ways to help her and help you handle the situation. This would be the best for Kiwi. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
