Are my guinea pig's energetic bunny hops and body shakes normal?

I have a Guinea pig that has been doing these bunny hops but he will do it 5 times and then will wait a while and then do it again. he also dose these weird shake like a shake where he is trying to dry out the water on him. is this natural or is it his personality being energetic because he runs a lot in his cage? Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Male | 9 months old | 2 lbs

I think what you are describing is “popcorning” which is a normal behavior guinea pigs do when they are excited. They will bounce or pop up and down quickly. It sounds like Hershey is just having fun and enjoying himself!
