My dog still has diarrhea 4 days after vacation. Should I worry?

Our dog is one year old. We just came back from vacation with her and during our last two days at camp she came down with diarrhea. We put her on bland boiled chicken and rice it is day 4 and she still has diarrhea. She is acting fine, drinking, eating - should we be concerned or just let it run its course. We think it might be her consumption of the lake water. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 30 lbs

Since she still has diarrhea even though she was on a bland diet, it is likely that she has an intestinal infection, and it could indeed be something she ingested with the lake water. I suggest you take her to your vet for an exam. She will likely need prescription antibiotics and/or anti-parasitic medications.
