Hi, I’m getting ready to make kovu an appointment to get neutered. How many days should I take off from work to take care of him and help him recover. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 11 lbs

You won't need to take any time off work. Kovu will have pain medicine on board (make sure you ask the vet to give him pain meds) for 1-2 days and she should be fine. Most cats appear as if nothing happened to them after castration. So I would not worry. You can pamper him with a special treat and lots of TLC, if he wants it.
