My cat's pyometra pus returned after antibiotics. What's wrong?

hi my cat has pyometra and her vet is giving her antibiotics for 2 weeks now. and when her antibiotics stopped, the pus came out like there's no ending. why is this happening? she is also meowing non stop to me, i feel like she's saying that she is hurting. my heart just broke when she meows like this because she is usually a quiet cat and im not used to her meowing

Unfortunately if pyometra persists despite antibiotics, it is best to proceed surgically by removing the uterus. The antibiotics are not working because possibly there is a resistant infection or your vet did not give the right antibiotic. Unfortunately a lot of these type of infections do not resolve without surgery.
