My cat's pyometra pus returned after antibiotics. What's wrong?

hi my cat has pyometra and her vet is giving her antibiotics for 2 weeks now. and when her antibiotics stopped, the pus came out like there's no ending. why is this happening? she is also meowing non stop to me, i feel like she's saying that she is hurting. my heart just broke when she meows like this because she is usually a quiet cat and im not used to her meowing. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 3 lbs

Unfortunately if pyometra persists despite antibiotics, it is best to proceed surgically by removing the uterus. The antibiotics are not working because possibly there is a resistant infection or your vet did not give the right antibiotic. Unfortunately a lot of these type of infections do not resolve without surgery.
