My dog has bumps and scabs after eating new treats. What is it?

i recently bought my dog the Three Dog Bakery Cake Mix for a treat, i made cupcakes with it and I gave him 2. i noticed earlier that he has these bumps or scabs on him making his fur stick up a bit and didnt know what they were. i thought maybe he could be having an allergic reaction to the cupcakes or if they could be some kind of bug bites? he has at least 4 of them. any idea of what it could be and how to get rid of it? HI, thanks for using PetCoach! There are 2 possible causes: 1) hives from an allergic reaction or the start of a skin infection. If they are hives then they should respond to benadryl, read link below. If they do not get better or the number increases then Nugget should be seen by your Vet for an exam.
