Simparica not working for ticks. Can I use Seresto collar too?

I just gave my 9 month pit bull puppy simperica. It’s been working but we still find ticks on her. Can I use Seresto collar also? I called Simperica and they said yes but looking for a second opinion. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! In order to kill the ticks with Simparica, the tick has to but the dog and they will die with in a day. If you are finding engorged ticks then the product isn't working and you should stop using it. If you are finding attached dead or slowly moving neurologic ticks then they are dead or dying from the Simparica. If you feel you need the Seresto Collar I would just use that and stop the Simparica. The collar repels and the tick doesn't have to attack to be killed. But yes the 2 can be used together but I see no point if you think the Simparica isn't working, why waste your money on 2 products? Good luck!
