Is it normal for my cat to sleep on the fridge and avoid stairs?

my cat doesnt like to come upstairs he likes to sleep in the kitchen on fridge but overall he is almost normal. . what might be the reason. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 2 years old | 6.6 lbs

Cats sometimes display very unusual behaviour and possibly can choose quite awkward spots for sleeping with no apparent reasons (usually the temperature of the place where they sleep can be a major factor). Nothing strange with it then and I would not be extremely worried about it.
