My puppy gets anxious at the dog park. How do I help him socialize?

My 6 month German Shepherd gets really bad anxiety when we go to the dog park. 1st day he was fine with it. 2nd day he would just stay by the gate and today he won’t go get his ball or play with other dogs. When a dog came up to him the dog nibbled at him a little and he freaked out barked and chased his away. The dog still wanted to play say he made a wimper sound and hid behind while 3 other dogs wanted to play with him. How can I fix this?
