My husky has open, pus-filled nose sores that are scabbing. What to put on them?

So I have a husky and over the past week he has gotten open sores on his nose and they have pus coming out but some are also scabbing over. What should I put on them? Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 45 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be due to an infection though it could also be due to an immune mediated disease for instance. Most of the time these require a biopsy to determine the origin. Antibiotics can help in these cases though again it depends on what is the actual cause of these lesions. I recommend that you have Max evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
