Considering a Papillon? What are the pros and cons of this dog breed?

I lost my 17 yr old furbuddy in March. Looking to rescue a Pappillon.Is this a good brred??

I'm so sorry you lost your dog, but congratulations on getting another. Obviously every breed has their own pros and cons, it from my experience papillions are lovely. They are very handsome, smart, loyal and tend to be very healthy dogs. They can be a little stubborn though and will require grooming. They are a great small dog though as they have the energy and sense of fun of a larger dog.
