Pet's info: Dog | English Setter | Male | neutered | 5 years and 3 months old | 52 lbs
My wife and i, we are expecting. We have a concern about barking morning behaviour of fritjof and we wonder how realistic will be to aim for changing his conduct. We live in a small/mid size apartment and he has his bed in our room. But because the apartment size it doesn't matter where he barks it will be loud. Can one teach a dog not to bark?

Yes, it's certainly possible to improve this behavior through training. To give any specific suggestions, we would need quite a bit more information - there are many different reasons that dogs may bark, and the recommended training approach will be different depending on why he is barking. Please feel free to post again with more details about this behavior, such as when he tends to do it, what seems to trigger it, etc. We would be happy to try and help.
