What is the best food for dogs? After some research I saw that food higher in protein is what's best, i gave them taste of the wild but they didn't like it. I tried whole farms and they did like it. That's what i am sticking to right now but would like professional opinion. I saw Amazon got a dog food brand out, don't know if anyone has opinions about that, seems good just doubts on where the ingredients come from. Also, what are your thoughts on purina's dog chow complete adults. My dogs r 3yrs

Hi there. I would recommend feeding a diet from a company with a good reputation, who employs veterinary nutritionists to help formulate their diets and does AAFCO feeding trials to prove that their diets provide complete and balanced nutrition when fed long-term. Companies that meet these criteria include Iams, Purina, and Royal Canin. Purina Dog Chow Complete Adults would be a very reasonable choice.

Hello. If Tia has no reasons to be on any type of special diet, then you can not go wrong with any of the Purina dog foods. If you want to step it up the notch, Hill's Science Diet or Royal Canin are excellent foods. There is absolutely no reason to pay $90 for a bag of dog food just because it has a pretty label. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Take care.
