Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 2 years and 11 months old | 8 lbs
My cat has been scratching her ears more often than usual and te inside of her ear looks wet. A few weeks ago I took her to the vet and they put a medication in her ear and I gave her oral antibiotics for 10 days, but it’s been a while and her ears still look very wet. There’s no wax or dark discharge.

Hello, sorry to hear about Sugarplum. It sounds like she may have a persistent ear infection. She may need to have her ears cultured to make sure she is on appropriate antibiotics. In addition to a longer course of oral antibiotics, she may need to have antibiotic ear drops prescribed as well. This could be associated with foreign bodies in her ears or a middle or deep ear infection. She may need to have a sedated ear examination. Hope this helps and best of luck.
