Pet's info: Dog | English Setter | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 1 day old | 5 lbs
Hi, i recently just got a puppy and he had been wormed supposedly. We have had him for 5 days and he just pooped and it was full of round worms. I’m curious what i can get him to make sure he doesn’t have any more worms in him. Also i have a 7 month old basset hound that’s been with the new puppy and was looking for something i can give him too. Thanks! -Justin

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This means that Ace would benefit from being started on another dose of deworming medications. The best medication for this is usually chosen based on a fecal examination to determine which parasite is affecting Ace. The same deworming medication can be given to your other dog. I recommend that you have them evaluated by a your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a great day!
