What is this spot on my 6-year-old Dachshund's nose? Is it cancer?

I noticed this on my 6 year old Dachshund's nose a few days ago. I have done some googling just to see if it was something simple. I am concerned that it might be cancer. It hasn't grown in size since I noticed it but I would love a vet's opinion. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 22 lbs

I would definitely recommend having it sampled in the vet office. It's possible that it's just a wound, or it could be an infection, cancer, or even something like an immune mediated disease. You don't need to take him to an emergency clinic, but I'd recommend having him see early next week to try to get a better idea of what's going on. Good luck, I hope it's nothing.
