Why is my fixed male cat crying so much after eating, morning & night?

Early morning after being fed, my male cat cries. He cries in our room or sometimes throughout the house. He is fixed. Why is he crying so much. Occasionally he will cry in the afternoon/evening. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

Is he a young cat? If so he may be looking for something to do such as hunting. If he is an older cat then I would be worried about possible hyperthyroidism or diabetes. You may want to consider different toys or tall cat trees that allow him to watch birds out of the window.
