When using Revolution flea meds, do you rub it in after applying it? Will it make them sick if they get some in their mouth? Thank you!!

You part the hair between the shoulder blades and squeeze the content of the little tube onto the skin that is showing. Do not rub it in. If you put it into the proper place Lassie will not be able to reach it and lick the area. Should she be a contortion artist and reach the area anyway, you can put a t-shirt on her for a few hours to keep her from licking. It will not make them sick if they get some of the medication in their mouth, but we want it to work in the skin and not in the gut.
