My dog has ticks, Frontline failed. How can I kill them safely?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 7 months old | 59 lbs

I found a bug called zecke i thing that sucks dog’s blood in my dog today it is very common at that time in dogs here in egypt because it is very very hot now i wanted to know how i can kill them all of her body because they are producing very fast iam very worried i used frontline it didnt kill them i heared about a powder called sevin that will kill them and is safe for dogs.

A Zecke is the German word for tick. Ticks can transmit diseases and they suck blood and therefore you should remove all of them manually. The following flea and tick preventives will kill ticks: Advantix Seresto collar (has repellent action as well) Bravecto chew Simparica and Nexguard You should be able to get those in Egypt, at least via the internet. Sevin is CARBARYL, a carbamate which should not be used on dogs as it is very poisonous.
