My cockatiel is sick and struggling to breathe. What should I do?

Hi is there anything I can do for my cockatiel he is listless she has a clicking sound doesn’t want to stay awake nodding her head to breath sits at the bottom of her cage I tried to hand feed some water into her and it come out her nostrils she is so lethargic no vet till the morning here

I'm sorry that your bird is so ill. This is a definite respiratory emergency. Could be an inhaled toxin like from Teflon or smoke oor a serious infection. Your bird needs heat, oxygen and ER care. Keep warm and upright until you can get to the vet. Do not try to give the bird anymore to eat or drink. Good luck with your sweet baby.
