Trick bunny hops when running he also has decreased Rom in the left hip my vet says it's nerve pain not arthritis related but I give him previcox daily 4cyte supplement and monthly arthropen jab based on the xrays taken when he was 2.5 yrs old would you say his hips were bad enough to cause problems or is it nerve related I am looking into getting new xrays done to rule his hips out as the reason for his pain thoughts please.

I am sorry to hear about Trick. It sounds like you attempted to attach x-rays but we do not see any here on our site. I would definitely recommend repeating x-rays if he hasn't had them done in a few years as "bunny hopping" is somethign we often see in hip dysplasia and sometimes it doesn't appear until they are older, so things could definitely appear different in an x-ray taken today. If neuropathic pain is suspected a drug called Gabapentin can sometimes be helpful and is also used as a secondary drug when NSAIDs like previcox are not enough. In severe cases of hip dysplasia surgery is recommended.
