My cat is sneezing a lot after a food change. Is it connected?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 12.5 lbs

We changed our cat food and mac stoped eating. Started puking up stumic acid. Once we rilzed that the food was a problem we switched it back. He is now eating great, stoped puking. But is now sneezing like crazy. Im just wondering if it could be connected or if he just may have a cold or something else.

Most likely not related. I would monitor and ask long as otherwise doing well, eating not lethargic, etc then you can continue to monitor. It can be viral which can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. If you see discharge, the sneezing gets worse or develops into other symptoms, decrease appetite or anything else I would recommend bringing Mac to the veterinarian.
