My dog ate wild bird eggs from a nest. Will he get sick or be okay?

Hi there. My dog and I just came across a birds nest built into the ground (which I’ve never heard of before) and before I knew what he was doing, he ate two of the eggs in the nest. Is this going to make him sick? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 years and 11 months old

While he could develop stomach upset resulting in gastrointestinal signs like vomiting and diarrhea, I think it is more likely that Jeter will be just fine. If he does develop symptoms, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. In that case, they may be able to administer medications to support him until he feels better.
