My female dog mated June 1st has been about 7 weeks now and I noticed a brownish red discharge is that normal. Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 8 months old | 100 lbs

This discharge may be normal, but it could also indicate infection. Ideally, Cocoa should be physically examined by your veterinarian to confirm all is well and the pups are doing fine. Monitor her for lethargy, fever, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, excessive discharge or active bleeding.
