Pet's info: Cat | Norwegian Forest Cat | Female | unspayed
Hey, i found a cat that has been abandoned for about a year. The previous owners have left her and she has been homeless. We took her in, she was very, very skinny. We fed her and she kept coming back to us. I slept with her next to me and kissed her on the head a lot. Today when she got home, she was covered in poop. I gave her a bath and kissed her again. A moment later, i noticed a small white worm coming out of her but. She has tapeworm, but she has no fleas. Can we get worms by kissing her?

No you cannot get tapeworm by kissing her. You should have her seen by your vet for an exam as being covered in poop is not normal. At the vet they can also give you a tablet against tapeworm. (the small white grain of rice looking worm is actually a part of the tapeworm full of eggs, but they cannot infect you). Seems like you have a wonderful cat!
