My new betta fish is hiding in its tank. Is this normal behavior?

My new betta was swimming around a lot the first day but after that he has just been hiding the whole day. He still eats but mainly just hides when I am in the room. What do I do? Pet's info: Fish | Betta | Male | unneutered | 3 days old
