Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 6 months and 11 days old | 13 lbs

I have a 6 month old Dachshund puppy that does not want to eat. I have raised dachshunds for 50 years, bread them and have shown them and have never experienced this before. I have tried every type of dog food but he just doesn't want to eat he has been to the vet and everything is normal but he is just fickle! Help!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If a medical issue has been ruled out, you can try highly palatable foods such as lean meats mixed with rice. Otherwise, there are certain brands in the market that are highly palatable such as Purina Pro Plan shredded blends. You can try adding chicken broth to his food. You can try those things but if nothing seems to work, he should be re-evaluated by a veterinarian to ensure that there is not a medical issue going on with him. Good luck and have a great day!
