Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 5 lbs
Hi, one of my yorkies has these pink bumps on top of his head. He have been having it for almost a year or less. I think it keeps growing but I’m not too sure. I believe he is 5 or 6 years old human life. I haven’t noticed him crying or anything but I could be wrong. I’ve been trying to google it but apparently dogs get cysts and there’s different ones so that didn’t help. I just want to know what kind of cyst is it and if it’s benign or deadly and what caused it so that I know what to avoid?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! These could be benign or malignant growths. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. Good luck and have a good day!
