My dog has a leg wound. Can I treat it myself or should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 9 years and 8 months old | 26.4 lbs

I saw a this wound on my dog leg. I don't know how this happen. And now should I treat it at home with spray or go and visit a vet.

Hello, sorry to hear about Noddy. That wound is in a tough location. You should ideally have that seen by a veterinarian so that they can start treatment for it. It will likely need more than a spray to heal. Given it’s location, it may take several weeks to months to heal completely. There also seems to be a draining tract which should be explored for any potential foreign material. Hope this helps and best of luck.
