I think there is something wrong with my cats bum. It has like a red thing on it. It looks raw. Im not really sure. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed

That does not look so happy. The red "thing" you see there is likely a little mucous membrane showing, ie lining of the rectum, however I wonder whether this could be caused by impacted anal glands. I suggest you make an appointment with your vet and have River's bum examined. He may need to have his anal sacs emptied.
