My cat has started dry coughing while he was sleeping several times, is it something to worry about? He didn't do it in the past.

It could be there is something in the environment that is irritating Dickis's airway. If he's only doing it while sleeping and not while awake, and doesn't have any other symptoms such as lethargy, sneezing, congestion, or loss of appetite, I wouldn't be too worried just yet. If this coughing continues, however, or he develops any of the other signs I mentioned above, I would have him seen by a vet for a health check. Best of luck.
