Hi, my 6 year old cocker spaniel just ate atleast half a lemon meringue pie will she be ok or will she need a vet? Thanks. Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 6 years and 6 months old | 24 lbs

Oh boy, Jessie! Well, there is nothing toxic in pie as long as you didn't add any artificial sweeteners. That said, that amount of sugar, fat, etc. may cause stomach upset.. vomiting or diarrhea. I would feed only a small meal for the next meal, and let the stomach rest. Watch for problems and see your vet if you notice any issues.
