Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 11 years and 3 months old | 8 lbs
My dog has been limping since yesterday when jumped off a couch. He doesn't seem in pain at all. When I massage his hine legs which seems to be the problem, he let's me do it. Usually if he is in pain, he will cry out. When using the bathroom he squats a little instead of lifting leg. I've noticed that he was limping before but he stopped so I didn't really think anything of it but now it's been happening for about 24 hours now. What could be the problem? Please help!

Hello, sorry to hear about Coffee. Common problems with the back legs of dogs include hip and knee problems. In small dogs, it is offer they knee which is giving them problems. Diseases of the knee include injuries to their ACL and a dislocating knee cap. This is typically more apparent during a physical exam. In the interim, you should keep Coffee rested withou any strenuous or hard impact activity. This means not running, jumping or rough housing should be allowed. If he is not better in a few days, then he should be evaluated by a veterinarian immediately. Hope this helps and best of luck.

So sorry to hear this happened to Theo. It sounds like his knee cap may be slipping in/out of place but he could have also injured his ligament in the knee. I suggest you take him to the vet for an exam.
