my cat is 60 days pregnant and demands food after every 3 to 4 hours. should she be given food whenever she wants or should there be a limit. she never did it throughout her pregnancy but does it now. wil it make fat and cause problem in her labour

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Snowwhite. I recommend feeding her on demand at this point in her pregnancy. Cats typically eat less as labor approaches and for a period of time afterwards. Delivery followed by nursing will cause her to burn a huge amounts of calories so she is likely trying to prepare. Be sure to offer free access to water as well. She will need large quantities of water to produce enough milk. I hope this information helps!
