My dog with hip dysplasia falls when peeing. Should I see a vet?

Trick has hip displeysia and today twice when cocking his leg to pee he has fallen over is this a sign his hips are getting worse and what can I do to help him and should I get him checked out or wait a few days to see if he improves

I'm so sorry to hear that Trick has hip dysplasia. I would not recommend waiting to have Trick seen by a veterinarian. Hip dysplasia does not normally cause falling when lifting a leg to urinate, so Trick may have something else going on that requires treatment. If Trick is already having hip problems and is only 4 years old, then he likely needs additional treatment to prevent severe problems in the near future.
