My puppy had multiple seizures and is very tired. Is she dying?

My 8 week old chihuahua just had 5 seizures within 45 minutes. She's the runt of the litter and im worried for her. Shes currently laying down and its been about 20 minutes since her last episode. She just seems super tired afterwards. Is there a chance she could still die? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 3 lbs

Yes. I would recommend taking her to an emergency veterinarian immediately. She could be having seizures from hypoglycemia which is treatable, but can be fatal if not treated quickly. She could also have a liver shunt or developmental problem with her brain causing seizures. Trauma or ingestion of toxins can cause seizures as well. If she has had that many seizures in a short period there is potential for permanent brain damage. Head to a vet as soon as you can - I’ll be hoping for the best for Daisy!
