How much should my 4-month-old Lab puppy weigh & how big will she get?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 23 days old | 44 lbs

Hi! My labrdor puppy currently weights 10.2kg (22.5lbs) and she is nearly 4 months old. Is that healthy? What is the normal weight of a 4 month old lab? How big can i expect her to get as an adult? She eats quality food called Bewi dog.

She looks cute and healthy. She also looks to be more of a field type lab which can be smaller than the more English show type labs. I expect her to mature around 50 lbs. or a little larger. Some dogs grow more slowly but will still reach their full normal mature weight, just later than other dogs. I don’t like to over feed as they can get fat and grow too quickly causing some bone growth problems. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Kala.
