My Samoyed puppy is losing hair. Is it a rabies vaccine side effect?

Hello!My little Samoyed puppy has has her rabies vaccination on monday (4 days ago).The vet suggested i see a dermatologist because of the way one of her ears and genitals looked like.Test were possitive for insignificant presence of Malassezia pachydermatis in the ear and the presence of vulvar Staphylococcus pseudointermedius.In the last 2 days she has started to lose a lot of her body hair. Could this be a side effect from the vaccine? Pet's info: Dog | Samoyed | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 26 days old

Hello. The hair loss is probably more related to the bacteria on the skin. I assume the dermatologist placed your pet on an antibiotic & possibly a medicated shampoo. The hair loss is just a result of the skin infection & once things are under control, her coat should come back in. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
