Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 7 months old
I asked a second question of Dr Hinson yesterday on my late Pet Jess, I have paid for the consultation in advance , yet I have heard no more from her. Can anyone else help me concerning what treatment should have been given for "An overactive immune system". My dog was a English Working Cocker Spaniel, NOT a King -Charles!

Conventional treatment includes immunosuppressive drugs such as steroids. Dietary changes and antioxidant supplements may also be indicated. There are multiple autoimmune conditions in dogs and treatment usually depends on the specific condition as well as the severity of the condition.
