I noticed my morkies eyes are often watery. Like he's crying. It comes and goes. His tears have not stained his fur near his eyes nor is it reddish in color and not infected. His tears do not drip down his face. It almost as if they disappear at times. We keep him well groomed and make sure his fur is cut short near his eyes. Just wondering is it normal to have excessive tears or watery eyes? Thank you.

It definitely can be normal for some dogs. If it comes and goes I would discuss allergies with your veterinarian and see if they can give you a dose of an anti-histamine for Kalua. That way you can see if maybe there is an allergy component during the times of excessive tearing. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
