My dog has distichiasis. What are affordable treatment options?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 15 lbs

My dog has been diagonised with distichiasis, vet recommended cryosurgery. The ingrown eyelashes caused very small ulcear je is on antibiotic. I cant afford surgery for him now, what other treatment option can he have.

Unfortunately this is a condition in which one of several procedures are recommended and they all require general anesthesia. There is no way to treat this at home without removing the offending eyelashes that are growing the wrong way. If you have not looked into CareCredit yet, this is a great option if you are having financial constraints. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
