My dog bites over food and won't listen. How do I train him?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 20 lbs

I had chewy for a few years now and he still has a street dog mentality for example when I feed him dog food he still looks for food scraps all over the house one time he got a piece of pizza and when I tried to get it from him he got very aggressive and he bit me he does not listen very well when I want him to go to my room I tell him politely then he just stares at me then I have get more forceful with my voice how can I get him out of the street dog mentality and how do I train him right

I would recommend hiring a trainer to come to your home. I feel that at this point if he is that aggressive when you are trying to take food from him them a trainer should be involved to help you learn commands on how to deal with the situation and teach Chewy about this situation also.
