Is Champion Pet Foods still quality after heavy metal lawsuit?

This question is for David Elebeze. Recently there has been speculation that purina wants to buy champion pet foods for 2 billion dollars. And champion foods won't comment on this rumor. Also there is a lawsuit that has been filed against champion pet foods because of heavy metal contaminants. Does this mean this isn't a quality brand anymore? Please explain. Thank you. I believe we need to wait until the result of this lawsuit before we go into any kind of conclusion, give them the opportunity to make their case. lawsuits really don't mean much anymore these days as more than 95% of them will never reach the courtroom.
